Dive in Belize
The “Great Blue Hole” 460 ft. deep and 1,000 ft. in diameter is situated in the Lighthouse Atoll. It offers advanced divers the opportunity to spot both stalactites and stalagmites along with various sea life such as snappers, lobsters and even hammerhead sharks. As a result Glover’s Reef Atoll on the other hand, is a great dive spot located in southern Belize, for beginners and advanced divers.
This dive takes you over a majestic coral system and then descends to 35–90 ft. depending on your skill level. Keen divers will be able to point out the eels, turtles, shrimp, rays and bull sharks inhabit the area gives this dive an eerie feel.
The Sayonara Wreck dive at Turneffe Atoll is a great dive for beginner and advanced divers. While the wreck rests on coral and sand and is only at a depth of 50 ft. The multitude of starfish, shrimps and schools of barracuda can be viewed by divers allowed to swim around the wreck.
